Junior Signal Processing Engineer – Audio & Ultrasound (Embedded Systems Focus)

We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven junior engineer or graduating student with a passion for signal processing, particularly in audio and ultrasonic applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work on real-world problems and develop firmware for cutting-edge embedded systems in a technically challenging environment. 

You’ll join a small, focused team and contribute to the design and implementation of digital signal processing features used in consumer devices and wearable technologies. You’ll be expected to learn fast, take initiative, and gradually take ownership of meaningful parts of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, implementation, and testing of signal processing algorithms for audio/ultrasound applications.
  • Assist in developing embedded C code for real-time firmware running on microcontrollers or DSP platforms.
  • Run experiments, analyze data, and validate algorithm performance under supervision.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers and take part in code reviews and feature planning.
  • Gradually grow into taking independent responsibility for features or components.


Experience and Qualifications 

  • Near completion or recent graduate of a degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Solid academic knowledge of digital signal processing – ideally with project or thesis experience in audio or ultrasound.
  • Some hands-on experience with embedded C/C++ or microcontroller programming (e.g., Arduino, STM32, etc.).
  • Strong willingness to learn, experiment, and work through technical challenges independently.
  • Excellent English skills


Bonus Skills

  • Familiarity with Bluetooth audio stacks or TWS (True Wireless Stereo) devices.
  • Experience with Python for data analysis, algorithm prototyping, or automation.
  • Exposure to Android audio stack or related app development.
  • Previous internships or project experience in a similar domain.
